Electrical Engineer

Job description

In this role, under the guidance of the senior electrical engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design of various subsystems of the gas turbine generator sets. This includes the generator, UCP, MCC, fuel supply, start system, filtration and ventilation system, lubrication system, and electrical equipment attached to the turbine.

In addition, you will:

• Participate in customer projects and perform electrical design and engineering tasks
• Carry out tasks to support the development of our current and new products
• Create project-specific documentation (specifications, wiring diagrams, reports, etc.)
• Process as-built and as-installed information
• Lead internal improvement projects, such as standardizing our electrical drawings and documents
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and provide technical expertise to customers, suppliers, and colleagues

Job requirements

Destinus is seeking a recent graduate or early career engineer to join their R&D team as an electrical engineer. If you have strong communication skills, strive for the best results, take initiative quickly, and enjoy solving problems easily, you might be the Electrical Engineer we are looking for.

you bring with you the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience
• Hands-on experience with E-plan is a plus
• Key competencies: hands-on approach, teamwork, accuracy
• Fluent in spoken and written English
