Technology Support Engineer

In this pivotal role, you will deliver critical engineering support for the gas turbine gensets to ensure smooth operations and service.

Job description

The main tasks are:

  • Serve as the primary contact for the service team, addressing technical issues in the field.
  • Collaborate with engineering colleagues to leverage specific expertise for issue resolution.
  • Conduct vibration analysis on engine factory tests and field units.
  • Lead the advancement of our remote condition monitoring technology, including enhancements to both software and hardware.
  • Collect and analyze field data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on machine status and performance to clients.
  • Assist various engineering teams with the implementation of new procedures and specifications for service and operations.
  • Be prepared for occasional travel to customer sites and work beyond standard office hours as needed.

Job requirements

You bring with you the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (e.g., mechanical, controls, electrical, mechatronics).
  • Relevant work experience is a plus, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with rotating equipment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of control systems engineering or PLC programming is a plus.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
