In this role, you will focus on developing mechanical and structural systems for flights ranging from subsonic to supersonic and even hypersonic speeds. As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll collaborate across disciplines to tackle new challenges as they arise. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct detailed structural and structural-thermal analyses for aerospace structures, components, and systems.
• Lead structural optimization efforts and implement design improvements.
• Develop and refine FEM models for analysis, from Global FEM to detailed evaluations.
• Define load cases and sizing loads for comprehensive analysis.
• Perform preliminary sizing calculations, hand calculations, and simplified estimates to guide design decisions.
• Support both ground and flight testing activities.
• Prepare and present detailed technical reports and presentations.
• Assist in developing processes and procedures for manufacturing, integration, and testing.
• Contribute to the definition and execution of qualification and certification processes.

The Stress Engineer we are looking for is analytically sharp, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives on identifying and resolving complex structural challenges.

In addition, you possess the following:
